The Colorado Alliance of Professional Associations (CAPA) was created to provide a forum for leaders of professional associations and societies to share best practices and collaborate for improving the successful operation of their respective organizations, to coordinate scheduling of special events, and to support the efforts and activities of the associations participating in the alliance. The alliance is an informal organization without individual memberships and without a physical location. The representatives of the participating associations meet 6 to 8 times per year in various locations and communicate by email and telephone at other times.
